MUSEUM OF HISTORY OF THE AUTOMOTIVE
The Museum of History of the Automotive of Salamanca is the only public museum in Spain dedicated to the engine. Opened at the end of September 2002, it has more than 200 historic automobiles, some unique, as well as thousands of auto accessories.
It is located in a building that was the first plant producing electricity that had Salamanca.
THE EXHIBITION
Within the 90 pieces on display, you can enjoy some jewels of the history of the automobile, as the tricycle patented by the German engineer Karl Benz which is considered as the first vehicle powered by an explosion engine of history.
You will also find a 1922 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost, a Cadillac Fleetwood 75 which belonged to the dictator Francisco Franco, or the jewel of the collection a Spanish-Swiss of 1930 at its original state since it has never needed to be undergoing a restoration.
Temporary exposures to contents from other collections are also common.

- Tuesday-Sunday: from 10:00 to 14:00 / 17:00 to 20:00 hours.
PRICES
- General admission: 3.50 €
- Students, senior citizens and groups: 2 €
- Free: the first Tuesday of each month (from 17:00 to 21:00 hours).
